BMW baru saja meluncurkan X1 terbaru yang sudah dirakit di Indonesia. Hal itu tentu saja akan berpengaruh terhadap harga jualnya. BMW Indonesia mengatakan, harga jual BMW X1 terbaru lebih murah hingga Rp59 jutaan dibanding model lamanya.BMW Indonesia membanderol X1 sDrive 1.8i Executive ini seharga Rp539 juta off the road. Ketika dipasarkan masih dalam bentuk CBU, mobil ini dibanderol dengan harga Rp598 juta off the road. Jelas harga BMW X1 rakitan Indonesia lebih murah sekitar Rp59 juta.
Direktur Komunikasi Perusahaan PT BMW Indonesia, Helena Abidin, mengatakan Indonesia merupakan negara kelima setelah China, Malaysia, Thailand, dan India yang merakit lokal BMW X1. "Sudah 200 unit BMW X1 sDrive 1.8i Executive yang dikirim ke konsumen," kata dia.
Untuk merakit kendaraan ini di Indonesia, BMW pun menanam investasi hingga Rp100 miliar. "Satu line saat ini kami mencapai empat unit dengan dua varian. Diharapkan dengan Rp100 miliar ini bisa mencapai delapan unit untuk dua varian pada 2012. Tapi, untuk BMW X1 sDrive 18i tidak untuk ekspor, tapi hanya Indonesia," ungkap Helena.
BMW x1 sDrive 18i merupakan Sports Activity Vehicle kompak yang dibekali mesin 4 silinder kapasitas 1.995 cc, berbahan bakar bensin dengan Valvetronic dan double VANOS bertenaga 150 dk.
Mesin ini mampu menghasilkan torsi optimum 200 Nm pada putaran mesin 3.600 rpm dan sanggup melesat dari posisi diam hingga mencapai 100 km/jam hanya dalam waktu 10,4 detik.
Mobil ini memiliki batas kecepatan maksimal 200 km/jam, dengan konsumsi bahan bakar 1 liter untuk mencapai 11,9 km, serta tingkat emisi gas CO2 195g/km.
Tidak hanya itu, mobil tersebut juga diperkaya dengan fitur terbaru seperti lampu depan xenon, jok kulit nevada, tempat duduk dengan pengatur elektrik, serta fitur canggih lainnya.
Ada enam warna pilihan yang ditawarkan, antara lain alphine white dan titanium silver. Lapisan kulit dalam juga bisa dipilih, seperti red brown atau magma brown.
